If there is one thing we need to have learnt during lockdown, it is that we have to hone our fashion prowess on key essentials to reinvigorate our former fashion selves!

We take our style cues from some of the most coveted fashion muses - here are our top 5 obsessions to nail now!

If summer bodies are made in winter we need to move it move it…in style of course!  We are loving the latest drops from PE Nation at David Jones and Issue 1, Lorna Janes bright colours pulled together with Nike's hot pink trainers available (just arrived at Hype DC).

Or if you a feeling a bit more subtle - Rockwear’s snow leopard range will lend a feminine touch to your workout. Pair this with a pair of adidas Ultraboost in Vapour Pink-white for an enviable look that Is undeniably gorgeous.

Dewy skin is the ultimate fashion accessory for summer. My expert tip to you is to ask the store assistants what is their favourite product, what do I need to know about it? You will learn so much and find brands you may not have tried before. Here’s my personal latest purchases and I have to say I am LOVING the difference they have made! Hourglass Primer Serum no.28, Hourglass Luminous Light powder in colour Ambient, Radient gel bronzer by Chantecaille, I made the bold move to try a new mascara brand from Better than Sex to Urban Decay Perversion and I’m equally loving it.  I also moved from Georgio Armani’s luminious silk foundation to Ellis Faas for a change up, it’s a beautiful foundation all from Mecca.  Also be sure to take a look at the latest cult skincare range Drunk Elephant from Mecca…absolutely gorgeous products I especially love the jelly cleanser. Ok I have to be honest I didn’t stop there I also got the blush brush by Hourglass from Mecca and a blush by Ilia called At Last from Sephora which is a perfect shade for lips and eyes as well.

If you are still wearing bubble gum tight jeans I challenge you to update your denim game.  The look is now higher waisted a little looser and ankle length prefect for office days through to weekends. Some of our favs Ksubi light denim at General Pants, the Margi Slim Straight Jean at Dissh, Wrangler from Universal, or Nobody Denim from Issue 1.

Number 4 on my top 5 must have’s to get ready to get moving, is to update your wardrobe with a simple blazer. I love this one from Silk Laundry at Issue 1.  Wear over dresses, jeans, silk skirts, it’s a great trans-seasonal piece to move from our big coats and winter knits to a lighter more summer esk jacket.

Some personal favs are: Witchery Structured Double-Breasted Blazer (chalk), Country Road Darted, organically grown linen blazer (in Coral or Cosmetic Pink), Universal Store Perfect Stranger Linen Blazer (Green).

– in The Kitten Heel!  The kitten heel IS a girls best friend - considerably comfortable, stylish and oh so wearable.  Seen on the feet of all the fashion it girls and NY’s coolest street style gals.  I’m telling you the kitten heel is where it is at for an easy transition from ugg boots to getting out and about in style.
We are obsessed with these kitten heels from Steve Madden, Windsor Smith and Country Road
